|
| The system and process adapted by us include these phases – • Opening • Analysis and Design • Assess Design Efficiency • Building Prototypes • Production • Feedback and Alteration • The Final Delivery |
| |
|
 | Opening
In this phase, we help you identify and define the goals and objectives that will be used to evaluate the success of the project, from broader perspective. We will work with you to decide and define the team players. The Project Sponsors are also identified in this phase.
The Outcomes: Opening
• Team Roster This document identifies the team members participating in the project. It includes all contact information as well as the roles to be played by each team member.
• Project Goals and Objectives This document help us in deciding the benchmark for determining the success of the project. It includes the measurable factors that will identify the degree of success. |
| | Analysis and Design
This is the most crucial phase. During this phase we will work closely with your Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Instructional Designers (IDs) to articulate the specific needs and vision of the project. The platform for the course is created in this phase. The screens used to present content are designed during this stage.
We use explicit documentation and visual mock-ups to ensure that we understand the scope of our goals and objectives. The storyboards, images, and other assets that are compiled for use in this course are reviewed here. The technological challenges are identified during this phase.
The Outcomes: Analysis and Design
• High Level Design Document (HLDD) This document expresses the features, functions, aesthetic properties, interoperability requirements, and specifications for deployment of the overall course. • Overall Project Plan This is the plan for executing the Project once the scope is defined. It illustrates on the whole our vision and perception on how the project will be completed. • Understanding the Development Cycle After this phase everyone involved in the project should have a clear understanding of our milestones and expectations for the project. • Instructions about Feedback and Alteration We keep a track of issues and feedback using a tracking system. This facilitates us in ensuring that the requested changes are documented and executed throughout the development cycle. We explain how changes are effected and the impact of changes on the project. |
| | Assess Design Efficiency
Direct communication with the students is the best way to assess the layouts and designs. We show them mock-ups and explain our ideas for course development. Potential design flaws are identified in this stage so that they do not cost us more if identified later. Our training team administers and facilitates this phase. If we find that any of the design elements were ambiguous or unclear we re-define the HLDD to include the changes needed.
The Outcome: Assess Design Efficiency
• The Final High Level Design Document (HLDD) This document will represent the global functionality of the course as well as how the course will be deployed. |
| | Building Prototypes
This is the phase where we move from “What” is to be constructed to “How” it will be constructed. We build screens using a pool of screens with different layout and styles. These screens are designed to present different styles of content. A functional prototype explains our understanding and act as a milestone to measure our progress. Any problem with functionality are identified in this stage.
The Outcome: Building Prototypes
• A Functional Prototype This prototype clearly exhibits the items identified in the HLDD. It also acts as a milestone for confirmation and sign-off. Once approved we get the blue print for the remainder of the project. |
| | Production
At WebTeam Corporation, we have a big team of multimedia and development specialists. Once a functional prototype of the project is built, our engineers start working. They compile storyboards, images, audio, and any other asset provided to create your course.
The Outcome: Production
• Alpha Version of the Course We will host and deliver the course files to the location of your choice based on our definition in the HLDD. The version delivered will be for final evaluation and feedback. |
| | Feedback and Alteration
In this phase we seek feedback on the course deployed. A change tracking system is used to facilitate a screen by screen review of the course. We let you identify changes or recommendations to ensure that the course is meeting your expectations. During this phase we discuss changes and work through their impact to the overall project schedule. We will help you understand the difference between major and minor change so that project communication is clear and our budgets are met.
The Outcome: Feedback and Alteration
• Documented records of changes in our tracking database • Decisions to implement, or not implement changes |
| | The Final Delivery
Once the changes have been implemented we proceed to the Final Delivery/Sign-Off phase. During this phase you will have an opportunity to review and confirm the final delivery.
When our E-Learning course is approved, deployed, and verified, our E-Learning Course Project is considered as completed |
